We have made searching on the web fun and easy by putting together a 3-D metasearch interface. Now you no longer have to go through those countless search results provided by the common search engines, trying to find that one document you need. Our interface to the search engine, currently offered only for altavista, obtains the articles for you and maps them in a 3-D world based on a variety of criteria. In particular, the title, rank, description, last modified date and the estimated size of the search results will be presented to you in a 3-dimentional world. This scheme would thus provide some intuitive clues about each search result in addition to visual cues for comparing the results.

The virtual world in which search results will be displayed has been tested with the Cosmo Player VRML viewer. If you have difficulty seeing or navigating the virtual world, please try installing this viewer. (Mirror Site)
