Week Five
  • Check the schedule for lecture topics and demo dates.
  • Is your project ready to run on the day it is due? Backups? Do you have at least SOME system that minimally meets most of the specifications that you can guarantee will run?
  • Written form of requirements document is due. A structured document containing a complete listing of your projects requirements, tests (but not test results), structure of the wolf's and thief's work, etc. 90% Edited finished product.
  • Review the Take Home Midterm file, which is due week six at the BEGINNING of class. Missing class to work on your midterm will NOT help. This is intentional.
  • Check the project specifications to make sure that your implmentation meets them: Project Specifications.
  • Groups should be very confident about the upcoming Preview Demo , due week seven.
  • Check: how are your time log links coming along? Documentation managers?
  • Review the material on expected-value, utility value, sunk costs, and framing.
  • Check out the Spots Problem and mail me your answer.
  • There is no guarantee, yet, that I will use the same format, but it would probably be wise to review last quarter's Final Assessment document.
  • In preparation for the upcoming midterm, it would be a good idea to review the particulars of the grading policy for this class.
