Week Three
  • Check the schedule for lecture topics and demo dates.
  • Check the requirements for the Plan and Design demo in the Demos directory.
  • See the ECT WEB page for instructions on how to set up accounts on the ECT web servers, for those students that wish to use them.
  • Groups will need to have made good progress with their backend server programming component by week three. This is an important technical hurdle.
  • Groups should have made arrangments for backup servers by now. Note that shrike.depaul.edu cannot support most backend programming, and is generally suitable only for a static backup platform serving static files, although php support seems to be working.
  • Review the Take Home Midterm file, which is due week six.
  • Some quarters, in addition, we will have lecture material relevant to the upcoming in-class exam (date TBA). Be sure to have a classmate take notes if you will not be present.
