PC Video Editing


Note: ALWAYS make sure you SAVE your files DIFFERENT from the original video.
Trimming
Windows 10:

Open your video in Movies and TV. There is a pencil at the bottom of the screen. Click on this and you will be able to see the Trim option.


Windows 8 or earlier:

Open Windows Movie Maker and import your file into the program. Here you will be able to trim your video by cutting the film into pieces.


Adding Captions


Windows 10:

Download Movavi video editor. This gives you a 7-day trial. Here you can add text to your video and match it up the words with the video.

Blurring Out People

Windows 8 or earlier:
if the person stays still

Click here. Add a text box. Make the text box to be a dark color. Do this by changing it away from transparency.


If the person doesn't stay still

Come to the CET where we can use an Adobe software to help you. Please allow optimal time for this assistance. This can take upwards to 2 hours to complete.
