Publishing your Pages Online
Need to move your HTML files from your computer to a webserver
students.depaul.edu
- Depaul Student account
This account will provide you with server space to host your web pages. Please have your account activated by next class. You will be required to upload all of your work to this account.
Your Depaul students account is NOT the same as your campus connection account. If you have forgotten your user id and / or password you need to visit ID Services they will provide you with your account information.
Specify that you need a Unix account on students.depaul.edu.
Once they activate your account request that you login in to verify it is working.
- Through your students account you have access to a webserver.
- The name of that server is
students.depaul.edu - There are many programs available to transfer your files, they are called FTP programs.
