For people who love to eat, I'm working on a guide to food from around the world. If you've ever gone to a restaurant but couldn't understand the menu, or if you were unsure what the food from a particular culture would taste like, then this page should help.
Language and ESL
Many of those reading these
pages will be students of English as a Second Language. I'll try to put in a
number of links to famous, useful, and interesting sites on the web for people
who want to improve their English. My father has been studying Spanish
intensively for about a year, and I'll also try to include information here for
him and others who are studying some language other than English.
This will be the place to find information directly connected with ELA. The syllabus for each class will be posted here as well as schedules for any class trips. Each semester, we'll visit a few museums and also go out to dinner. During the summer, there are usually even more activities: boat tours, ball games, and beach outings.
Discussion Group Do you want to share ideas with other students from ELA? This discussion group is open to everyone: ELA students and teachers, their friends, even total strangers.
