The Writing Center uses WCOnline, a web-based application, for all face-to-face appointment scheduling. Once you have registered and logged in, you will be able to view a schedule of available appointment times and tutors. Please read the Center's policies before scheduling your first appointment.

To Schedule an Appointment:
1) Please read the Center's policies before scheduling your appointment.
2) Click on the link above, or go to http://www.rich15.com/depaul.
3) Select a campus (Lincoln Park or Loop) below the log-in box, then log in.
4) You will be taken to the schedule for the current week, and it will show the campus that you selected when logging in. To change campuses, simply use the drop-down box above the schedule. To change the week, use the links below the schedule. The tutors available during a given time slot will have white schedule blocks in the row beside their names.
- Need help choosing a tutor? At the top of the scheduling page, there is a link to the profiles of all of our tutors. You may use this information to schedule an appointment with someone of a certain expertise or possessing similar interests.
|
- The wait-list feature allows writers to automatically receive an email notification when an appointment has been cancelled on a given day. So, if you don't see any openings on the day you want to come in, simply click on the wait-list option below that day's schedule and enter your email address. When there is a cancellation, you will be notified. At this point you will need to sign back into WCOnline and make the appointment as usual--the wait-list DOES NOT automatically make an appointment for you.

5) Once you know the day, time, location, and tutor you would like, click on the appropriate white block of time. The New Reservation window will now appear.
6) Fill out all of the fields that are applicable. If you wish to schedule a standing weekly appointment, the box in the upper-right corner of the appointment screen will allow you to do this.
7) Click "Save" to make your appointment.
Rescheduling or Cancelling Appointments:
Once the appointment has been saved, you can click on the appointment again (it will be yellow now). The "Save" and "Cancel" buttons will be replaced by "Modify and "Cancel." If you wish to make changes to the appointment, simply make these changes and then click "Modify." If you wish to cancel the appointment, select the "Delete" box, then click "Modify."
