Dr. Lauri Dietz is the Director of the University Center for Writing-based Learning. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in English Renaissance Literature. Dr. Dietz began her work with writing centers as a peer tutor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and most recently, before arriving at DePaul during the summer of 2008, she directed the writing center at Angelo State University in Texas.
