From its inception the Vincentian Studies Institute has placed much emphasis on the importance of publishing works relevant to the study of Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, Elizabeth Seton and the greater Vincentian Family. Since 1980, the Institute has published the bi-annual scholarly journal Vincentian Heritage, comprising 42 issues to-date, with over 200 articles representing the work of more than 130 authors. In 1987, beginning with a reprint of Joseph Leonard's English translation of Coste's three-volume biography of Saint Vincent, the Institute began publishing a variety of translations, reprints, magazines, and original works and research. A monograph series was also undertaken in the mid-1990's, and the resulting volumes have been a critical success. As a formative tenet of the Institute's mission, publications continue to lead the way forward. Please follow the links for more information on our projects - past, present and future.
