The Vincentian Studies Institute regularly sponsors a variety of programs and educational events meant to further understanding and appreciation of Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, Elizabeth Seton and the Vincentian Family.
Events have included several national symposia, including our offering of the Vincentian National Leadership Symposium: Unfolding the Legacy of Our Mission which took place at multiple sites across the country and attracted over 250 participants. Collaborations with the Spiritual Directors Program and the William and Mary Pat Gannon Hay Vincent DePaul Leadership Project have also proved highly successful.
In 2003 the Institute offered its first Vincentian Heritage Tour of Paris and France, a two-week tour of major Vincentian sites in Vincent and Louise's homeland. The tour will take place again in 2005.
