TPS Level One-Using Local Primary Sources

What Local Primary Sources Tell Us About Your School Community

Participants develop a list of primary sources that are unique to their school. The primary sources can be pictures of the school community i.e. pictures of the basketball team, the chess club, physical objects such as trophies, awards and so forth.

Create a simple learning activity for students that use those local primary sources to introduce students to primary sources and illustrate how primary sources provide impetus for inquiry and further investigation.
