These three words are at the heart of DePaul University, the nation's largest Catholic university, with an enrollment of 20,548 students. DePaul is a private, urban university with seven campuses and more than 130 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Founded by Vincentian Fathers in 1898 to teach the children of immigrants, DePaul remains committed to reaching out to individuals from a broad range of cultural backgrounds, especially first-generation and non-traditional students. Most of Taiwanese students here are Computer and Business related majors. However, still a few are Law and other majors. The CTI school of DePaul University is the dominator of computer education and the lagrest computer school in Illinois, which has more than 3,300 students. The school offers many specific master programs including Computer Graphics, Computer Science, Distributed Systems, E-Commerce Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Management Information systems, Software Engineering, and Telecommunication Systems. The Business school of DePaul University is also famous in Illinois. Established in the autumn of 1912, the College of Commerce began classes on January 13, 1913. It ranks among the ten oldest business schools in the United States. The part-time MBA program at DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business has been ranked 4th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in the magazine's 2001-2002 graduate school rankings. This is the seventh consecutive year that DePaul's program has been ranked in the top ten.
