Overview
The
Student Support Services Program (SSS) provides advising, academic
assistance, mentoring and career-related services to qualified undergraduate
students at DePaul. The program, which is funded by a grant from
the US
Department of Education, is part of a national network
of TRIO
programs designed to enhance the college experience and achievement
of students from ‘first generation’ and low-income families. As
such, it works closely with another TRIO initiative at DePaul, the
McNair Scholars’ program, which helps prepare students for doctoral
study and careers in college teaching.
