Welcome
I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, & Discourse <WRD> at DePaul University where I direct the M.A. in New Media Studies. My research examines how writers manage texts and technologies while composing. To study this mediated writing, I co-developed a research methodology using screen-capture software and studied technical writers' composing processes. This research has been published in Technical Communication and Technical Communication Quarterly. I teach courses in technical and professional writing, new media studies, and rhetoric and composition.
