Welcome

I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, & Discourse <WRD> at DePaul University where I direct the M.A. in New Media Studies. My research examines how writers manage texts and technologies while composing and has been published in Technical Communication (2005) and Technical Communication Quarterly (2007). Recently, I co-authored “Capturing the Activity of Digital Writing” with Cheryl Geisler for the edited collection Digital Writing Research (2007). I teach courses in technical and professional writing, new media studies, and rhetoric and composition.
