The Sophomore Seminar on Multiculturalism Teaching Colloquium, scheduled for early spring 2006, will focus on "Teaching Class and its Multicultural Intersections.” The aftereffects and coverage of Hurricane Katrina will be the touchstone for these discussions. The colloquium will include panel discussions on the topic of Katrina, multiculturalism and class, as well as a course assignment and syllabus design workshop and a workshop on incorporating multimedia sources on class in ISP 200.
