SAGA DePaul

We are a group at DePaul University in Chicago, IL that seeks to create a safe and equal campus environment for people of all gender presentations.  This includes but is not limited to transgender, genderqueer, and intersex individuals, as well as their allies.

SAGA is a politically focused group that intends to create a presence on campus that will raise awareness about alternate gender presentations, and also make obvious the need for such things as gender neutral bathrooms and housing.  We also hope to provide a safe space within our meetings where people can discuss the various issues and difficulties facing individuals with alternate gender presentations.

We hope to work with as many groups as possible on campus in order to make our goals of an all-inclusive campus a reality.  If you represent another group on campus, and are interested in working with us, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

SAGA meets every other Wednesday from 6pm-8pm in room 312 of the Student Center.  Check the Blog for more meeting info!

Please check this space often for updates, and feel free to join our facebook group, our demon direct group, and/or our mailing list by contacting saga.dpu@gmail.com.
