Registration Information
Registration for FAll 08 classes will begin Wednesday, Setember 3 for members and Friday, September 5 for non-members; advance registration is required. Register online or in person at Membership Services. No phone registrations, please. Pay via cash, check or credit card. Registration deadline is three days prior to class start date. Late registrations are accepted for some classes; please call 773-325-4555 for details. Late registrations are not prorated and are not eligible for refunds. All full-time DePaul undergraduate students and current members qualify for the member fee; all other individuals are subject to the non-member fee. Registration is only valid for the specific section. Participants may not attend other classes for which they are not currently registered, even to make up missed classes. As proof of enrollment, a copy of the receipt and/or a non-member access card should be brought to the first class.
Class Appropriateness
Please enroll yourself or your child in the appropriate class based on skill level and age. Ask the instructor if you are unsure of what level is best for you or your child. Campus Recreation reserves the right to cancel your class registration, with a pro-rated refund, if you have registered for an inappropriate level.
Refund Policies
Campus Recreation at DePaul University reserves the right to cancel any instructional class with insufficient enrollment. You will receive a 100% refund if class is cancelled by Campus Recreation or you withdraw from class prior to the registration deadline, which is three days prior to class start. A 75% refund is given if the refund request form is turned in to Membership Services at least 24 hours prior to the second class. No refunds will be given after the second class except for a physician-verified illness or injury. No refunds will be given after the registration deadline for classes meeting for three sessions or less. Late registrations are not eligible for refunds. Applications for a refund must be done in person at Membership Services.
Non-Member Policies
Non-members will be required to show their class access card at the front desk prior to each class to gain entry into the facility. Non-members failing to show a current class access card may be denied entry into the facility and thus forfeit class attendance and registration fees. If registration is not done in person, non-members should pick up their receipt and access card during Membership Services hours prior to the first class.
Non-members must comply with all posted facility policies. Registration for an Instructional Program entitles a non-member to participate in the class in which he/she is registered and use of the equipment and facilities associated with the class during the scheduled class time only. Non-members are permitted to access the facility 15 minutes prior to class start time and are expected to exit the facility 15 minutes after class ends. Class instruction and use of facilities and/or equipment apply to the registrant only.
Non-member parents and siblings of children registered in an Instructional Program must wait in the atrium during class time. Parents and siblings may be allowed on the pool deck during Learn to Swim programs with instructor approval. A non-member found in violation of facility policies may be denied further entrance to the facility and forfeit class registration.
Children Policies
Children must be supervised at all times. A parent or designated adult must stay in the facility while his or her child is participating in a Campus Recreation program. Parents should escort children to their program areas quietly and appropriately supervise siblings who are not in programs. Use of the assisted change locker room is encouraged and patrons should see a building manager if the changing room is locked. For more information on the children policy, please visit the website: www.depaul.edu/~rec. Patrons found in violation of children policies may be denied further entrance to the facility and forfeit class registration.
