Academic Profile: A student’s academic profile is the collection of the student’s standardized test scores (such as ACT, SAT, and TOEFL), DePaul assessment scores, high-school GPA, college level credits, and any other information that was included in the student's application to DePaul University.

Academic Advisor: During all summer orientation programs on the Lincoln Park campus, undergraduate students will meet with an academic advisor from their home college.  During this meeting, the advisor and student work in concert to select courses for the coming fall quarter.  Students should prepare for this meeting by answering for themselves some questions regarding their education at DePaul prior to meeting with their advisor.  The following list could serve as a place to start.

• Which major do I want to pursue and why?
• Could I pick-up a minor that might complement my major? And if so, which minor?
• Could I learn a foreign language while at DePaul?
• Would I like to join the honors program?
• Want kind of tutoring services does DePaul offer its students?
• What kinds of internships are available to students with my major?
• Would I be interested in studying abroad?
• What kinds of careers are available to students with my education?
