FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to take one year of organic chemistry AND one year of inorganic chemistry?
No. You need to take one year of organic AND inorganic chemistry combined. Both classes should total one year of course work.

Is general chemistry the same as inorganic chemistry?
For most schools, general chemistry is considered to be the same as inorganic chemistry. If you are unsure, contact your educational institution for a formal course description. We will be happy to assist you in determining if a class meets the inorganic chemistry criteria based on that description.

Do you have a program for students who have an bachelors degree in something other than nursing?
Yes. Please take a look at our Masters Entry into Nursing Program. This program is designed specifically for the college graduate who wants to become a registered nurse.

Is this an accelerated program?
We prefer not to use the word accelerated. Our programs typically take two years for full-time students to complete at the graduate level. The undergraduate level will vary per student based on previous work experience and educational background.
