Do I need to take one year of organic
chemistry AND one year of inorganic chemistry?
No. You need to take one year of organic AND inorganic chemistry combined.
Both classes should total one year of course work.
Is general chemistry the same as
inorganic chemistry?
For most schools, general chemistry is considered to be the same
as inorganic chemistry. If you are unsure, contact your educational institution
for a formal course description. We will be
happy to assist you in determining if a class meets the inorganic chemistry
criteria based on that description.
Do you have a program for students
who have an bachelors degree in something other than nursing?
Yes. Please take a look at our Masters
Entry into Nursing Program. This
program is designed specifically for the college graduate who wants to become a registered
nurse.
Is this an accelerated program?
We prefer not to use the word accelerated. Our programs typically take
two years for full-time students to complete at the graduate
level. The undergraduate level will vary per
student based on previous work experience and educational background.
I would like to learn more about
your programs. Can you send me a brochure?
Currently, our website serves as the main source of information about
our programs. If you have any questions or need further assistance,
please do not hesitate to call us or stop by for a visit.
How do I fill out an application?
You can apply right online. This is our prefered method for receiving
an application. To fill an application now, please click
here. If
you do not have access to a computer, please contact us for further
options.
Do I need a computer when I become
a student?
We highly recommended that students have access to a computer
for coursework and educational research purposes.
Do I need to take the GRE exam?
Yes. We require that you take the GRE (Graduate Record Examination).
If you need assistance preparing for the exam, there are several
great preparation tools and information at www.gre.org.
Do you offer night or
weekend classes?
We offer day, evening, and sometimes weekend classes to help accommodate
both full-time and part-time students.
Where do you offer classes?
DePaul University offers classes on six campuses. The School of Nursing
offers classes primarily at the Lincoln Park campus,
in addition to other area hospitals and locations.
How can I check
the status of my application?
