Expected Outcomes:

As a result of this course, the learner will:

• gain an awareness of the process of social transformation occurring in Polish and Romanian societies
• develop an in-depth understanding of a particular aspect of those changes in one or both countries
• have a greater understanding of partnership with a community that spans national boundaries
• gain deeper personal cultural awareness
• gain a stronger sense of one's own culture through the contrast with two others;
• become stronger critical thinkers and independent learners.
