I would like to be a part of the "Societies in Transition: Poland and Romania" course, to be offered at the School for New Learning during the summer and fall of 1996.
Note: No one will be enrolled in this course after June 15.
Chicago (Loop Campus)
Poland: September 30 - October 10, 1996
Romania: October 8 - 19, 1996
Poland and Romania: September 30 - October 19, 1996
All trips include two days in Budapest, Hungary, as well.
The cost of the trip includes airfare, lodging, most meals, group transportation, and guides throughout. We are simply adding up the costs and dividing them equally among all students. We budget that the total cost per person should be no more than $1800 (Poland only), $1700 (Romania only) or $2600 (Poland and Romania), and probably somewhat less. This figure is mostly double occupancy; triple or dorm-style may be necessary in some cases, such as when we stay in University housing. Single occupancy probably may not be available.
Note: tuition for undergraduate students is not included in this cost.
Due Immediately: $140 to hold a place (two checks made payable to DePaul University, one for $40 and another for $100.)
By June 15: Balance due, payable to DePaul University.
Cancellations:
Prior to June 15 = no penalty
June 15 to July 15 = $40 penalty
July 15 to August 15 = $100 penalty
After August 15 = $250 penalty
