Every undergraduate degree-seeking DePaul students is supposed to
have two academic advisors, one from a college and one from a major
department or program. The college advisor counsels students about
issues relating to college requirements, such as how to complete Liberal Studies Program
requirements or the modern language option, and the departmental
major advisor helps students choose appropriate courses within the major. If you do not know who your
college advisor is, contact your college. If you are a
declared mathematics major, you should have been assigned a
mathematics faculty advisor. If you do not recall who this
is, contact Nydia Rodriguez, the mathematical sciences department
administrative assistant, at 773.325.7806 or at nrodrigu@depaul.edu.
We recommend that mathematics majors meet with a mathematics advisor at least twice a year.
