TDC 375-701 Autuman 2009 Mid-term Grade Status This is an unofficial, cursory look at how a student's grade might turn out if we were to stop now and I had to submit final grades. Please note, you still have a chance to improve or slip. Further, I do NOT stand by these grades. Please do NOT come pestering me about why you are not getting an A at this stage. Remember up to half the homework and quiz grades will not count towards your final grade (only top 3 of each are scored) and this does not include the bonus project. There is also the final exam to consider of course. Add up each of your quiz scores and divide by the total number of quizes (if you missed one or more, just divide by how many you've been able to take). This is your average quiz grade. Do the same calculation for your homework grades and note this as your homework grade. Your one and only midterm grade is your midterm grade. Add those three composite grades up (quiz grade, homework grade and midterm grade) then divide by 3. Use the map below to estimate where you are at in the class as of now. If your grade is at or higher than the number listed, that is your approximate grade at this point. Nobody is on track to get an F I'm happy to report. 80+ = A 70+ = B 60+ = C 50+ = D <50 = F $Id: midgrades.txt,v 1.1 2009/10/13 03:22:32 jtk Exp $
