Dr. Choi is currently an Associate Professor of Economics. His teaching specialites include Money & Financial Systems, Economics for Decision Making, Business & Economic Forecasting, Business Statistics, and Financial Futures. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University in 1982 and worked as Advisory Economist in the Economic Analysis and Planning Department of the Chicago Board of Trade from 1981 till 1988 before joining DePaul. Currently, he also serves as a member of the Board of Directors at a $500 million community bank in Chicago.
