| The
First-Year Program is a component of the Liberal
Studies Programs Common Core. It emphasizes writing and communication,
quantitative reasoning and intellectual skills, as well as the
urban and Vincentian mission of DePaul University and all DePaul
students are required to take these courses. The general education
program begins with courses in the First-Year Program and is
further enhanced by a series of common experiences throughout
the student's educational career. |
