Welcome to Resources for Teaching Popular Romance Fiction! On this site you will find syllabi, assignments, lesson plans, and links to other web resources on popular romance. Whether you teach a full course devoted to romance fiction or a unit on the genre in a Women's Studies or Popular Literature class, I hope you'll find something useful here.

Many of these materials derive from my own DePaul University classes: ENG 286 (Popular Literature: Romance) and the masters' level seminar ENG 475 (Re-Reading the Romance). Others have been donated by the members of the RomanceScholars listserv.
