The New York Public Library has named Michele Morano's essay collection, Grammar Lessons: Translating a Life in Spain, to its list of top 25 "Books to Remember of 2007."

Francesca Royster has a new publication: ’Nice and Rough’: Tina Turner and the Promise of Privacy in What’s Love Got to Do With It and I, Tina.” Performance Research, 12.3. Winter 2008.

Christine Sneed's short story, "Quality of Life," has been selected for the 2008 edition of Best American Short Stories. Salman Rushdie was the reviewer for the 2008 issue. The story first appeared in the summer issue of New England Review in 2007.
