Africans
in America: America's Journey Through Slavery Web site
is a companion to Africans in America, a six-hour public
television series. The Web site chronicles the history of
racial slavery in the United States and explores the central
paradox that is at the heart of the American story.
This
WWW page introduces African and African American Collections
at the University of California, Berkeley, which are present
in more than twenty-five campus libraries. Here are links
to information concerning these collections. Listings of holdings
in these collections can be found in GLADIS, the on-line catalog
for the UC Berkeley Library and/or MELVYL, the on-line catalog
