Committees and Initiatives
DePaul's Office of Community, Government, and International Affairs coordinates the community-university advisory committees
responsible for DePaul Lincoln Park community affairs.
Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC)
Founded in 1989, this committee of Lincoln Park neighbors and DePaul University administration has overall responsibility for community-university relations, and advises on planning and development issues. The committee meets monthly during the academic year, generally on the 4th Thursday of the month.
The community representation includes six founding members and the current presidents (or their representative) of the following community organizations:

St. Vincent's Parish
Seminary Townhouse Association
Sheffield Neighborhood Association
Wrightwood Neighbors Conservation Association

Transportation Subcommittee
This subcommittee of the NAC focuses on parking and traffic issues as well as research and long range planning. It meets monthly, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, during the academic year.
