Community Mental Health Center

Urban Systems of Care (USC)

Urban Systems of Care (USC) is a creative and ever-evolving community based outreach and support program within the DePaul University Community Mental Health Center. USC is designed to assist children, adolescents and families who live in the Cabrini Green and Lathrop Homes communities through services tailored to the individual needs of the family and community. Each community is served by a separate office staffed with social service professionals and para-professionals who reside in the community.  The USC program seeks to address social and environmental issues that may ultimately evolve into more serious mental health demands by providing advocacy, resource identification, linkage and problem resolution to children and families within the community.  There are no fees for services provided by USC. Only residents of CHA in these 2 communities are eligible for USC services.
