careers
Choosing a major is different than choosing a career.  A degree in biology opens up many exciting possibilities.  Here are just a few occupations suitable for a biology graduate with links to help you find out more about each profession.

If you can't find the link you want, try searching the U.S. Dept. of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH). This handbook indexes every current job in the US (many more than are listed here) and lets you know the training required, daily working conditions, average salaries, related occupations, and prospects for job growth.

The DePaul Career Center (SAC 192) lets you explore career options, get career advice , improve resume and interview skills, find job/internship opportunities, attend career workshops, and contact alumni in your chosen field.
