please answer the following questions about the article you chose:
- What particular phrase or sentence stuck out to you, and why?
- What part or parts of this article engaged you most? Why?
- What does this article add to your understanding of your role as a teacher leader/TPS Coach?
- Name at least one way you can put the information from this article to use as a TPS Coach.
- Brainstorm final presentation topics. Come to our session with at least one firm idea for a topic you would like to present.
Presentations will take place in our 3rd session, and will run for 20 minutes, with 10 minutes for Q&A.
Your topic must be related to the Library of Congress in some way, but beyond that it is up to you-you can present a
specific database or resource, lead a primary-source analysis, give strategies for searching, or anything else you like.

- All participants will present during our third session. Some reminders about presentation formatting:
- Length: you will be allotted 20 minutes for your presentation, with 10 minutes of Q&A to follow. We have a lot of presentations to get through, so we will be adhering strictly to the 20-minute guideline-once the 20 minutes are up, we will have to cut you off. Please practice your presentation to make sure it fits the timeframe.
- Topic: your presentation must involve the Library of Congress and should be geared toward an audience of your fellow educators. Beyond that, you are free to present on whatever you like-a modeled source analysis, an idea for a classroom activity or lesson plan, or simply a walkthrough of a database or resource at www.loc.gov.
- Handouts: if you are planning on using any handouts, please email them to dbates2@depaul.edu.
