1. To create a account on myLOC.gov start by go to www.loc.gov and click on myLOC.gov

2. Click on “Register here” to start the registration process.

You need to fill out the information in the required fields. All of the required fields have a star by them * . A suggestion is to use whatever e-mail account and password that is easy to remember. Your password must be between 6 and 20 characters long. It cannot be the same as your user name or email.

Take advantage of your exclusive access. Start collecting. Add your favorite items and interactive features to your own collection by clicking on the "Add to My Collection" link below each item. All your items will be available in your personalized collection.
After you have register just follow the steps to add content to your MyLOC.gov account.

Step 1

Sign in on any page once you have registered. You'll get immediate access to your personalized collection.

Step 2

Start collecting. Add your favorite items and interactive features to your collection by clicking the "Add to My Collection" button below each item. All your items will be available in your personalized collection.


Step 3

Tell a friend. Once you have registered, you can send postcards featuring your favorite items.
