Not-for-Profit Assignment - to be presented in class

Select one not-for-profit organization and be prepared to present a short report to the class.  You can print notes to use for your class presentation - a short 3-4 minute report.  You should turn in or submit your notes to D2L under the list of journals.  Document must have your name on it, title of report and date.  This assignment constitutes 2 points of your 20 points for journals.  The other 18 points comes from the 9 actual journals you submit.

Components to include in report:

a) name and description of structure of organization
b) location, offices, branches, etc. of organization
c) target group or audience (who benefits)
d) resources available: associations affiliated with main group, how to contact, sources of information or questions
e) any statistics that are available for organization: financial statement, number of clients, number of individuals assisted in previous year, etc.

Two points awarded as one of your journals submitted.
