Java and other software

Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE), version 5.0.
You can install it on your PC in one of two ways:
1. From the textbook CD: Insert the CD into your PC drive. When the "Course Technology" window pops up, click on "Software", then highlight "Install JDK 5.0" and click "Install".
2. Download J2SE for free from Sun. Follow the above link, and click on the "Download" button for "JDK 5.0 Update 11" to begin the installation process.
