SSH for Macintosh

There are currently three SSH clients available for Macintosh computers. While you may use whichever you prefer, we recommend using MacSSH because of it's familiar interface and tunneling ability.

Note to Mac OS X Users: to use ssh on Mac OS X, launch the program /Applications/Utilities/Terminal and use the command
`ssh myusername@host` (for example,  ssh jsmith@students.depaul.edu).

MacSSH is a free SSH2 client which also supports tunneling. It is based on the popular BetterTelnet program, which was based on NCSA Telnet, so it is a good choice for macintohs users familiar with either of those programs.
