Amanda Athon (MAW) recently tied for first place in the Union League's fiction competition.

Daniel Kotowski (MAW '04) has served as a Democratic state senator the last two years, representing the 33rd District in the northwest suburbs. In his race for reelection, he received the endorsement of the Chicago Tribune, which stated that he has “earned the trust of voters.”
