Information Session on Teaching English in Two-Year Colleges

Professor John Hader, Co-Chair, Department of English, Harold Washington College, will join us to answer questions about two-year college teaching, including: What is it like to teach in a city or community college? What qualifications are needed? What kinds of adjunct and full-time positions are available? What is the current job market? How do you apply for teaching positions?

Dr. Carolyn Goffman, Two-Year College Teaching Certificate and Internship Coordinator, will provide information and answer questions about DePaul’s Certificate in Two-Year College Teaching in English and the teaching internship.
