Partial Tuition Scholarships

Partial Tuition Scholarships Available for Autumn 2007

The M.A. programs in English and Writing will once again this year offer Partial Tuition Scholarships (PTS) to recognize outstanding academic achievement of students in the department's two graduate programs in English. Partial Tuition Scholarships provide a partial reimbursement for tuition paid for up to two 2007 Autumn Quarter courses taken toward the M.A. in English or M.A. in Writing degree. [NOTE: PTS awards can be applied only to courses needed for the MAE/MAW degree.]

You are eligible to apply for up to two Partial Tuition Scholarship awards if:

• You have already completed at least two courses in the MAE or MAW
• You are enrolled in one or more classes for the current term
• You have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.6 or higher
• You are paying your own tuition and fees (You are not receiving financial assistance from any grant or scholarship agency or employee-reimbursement program; student loans are okay.)

To apply, click on this PTS Application link. Follow the instructions on the form for downloading and saving the file, and then send as an attachment in an e-mail to Mrs. Jan Flood, Assistant Director of Graduate Programs in English, at jflood@depaul.edu.

The deadline for applying for PTS awards for the 2007 Autumn Quarter is Friday, October 5. All requests for PTS awards must be made electronically through the link above, and they must be sent to Mrs. Flood via e-mail.
You will be notified of an award decision within ten days after the deadline.
