Best New American Voices

The editors of the Best New American Voices short story competition have announced this year's winners. Best New American Voices 2009 will be published by Harcourt Brace in November 2008.

The editors have already begun work on the next volume of the anthology. For M.A. and M.F.A. programs, the requirements are the same: submitted stories must come from the 2007-2008 academic year and must be written by students--enrolled full- or part-time--who are pursuing graduate degrees in creative writing.

The postmark deadline for the competition is May 15, 2008. Nominations should be sent to:
