Checking Your Degree Progress and Applying for Degree Conferral

Several students have reported to us that they are receiving confusing information about their degree completion when they log into the Degree Progress Report site in their Campus Connection accounts. For example, the site has sometimes indicated that a class is not fulfilling the right MAW concentration or MAE literary period requirement. We are now working with SRSupport to correct this. As soon as this have been corrected, we will let you know. In the meantime, please use your Course History Report as an accurate reflection of your degree progress.

Please note that MAE and MAW students who are applying for degree conferral do not need to declare a concentration when filling out the degree conferral form. That information is needed only from students in disciplines such as Psychology, in which a concentration determines the title of the degree they receive; therefore, leave the concentration declaration blank on your degree conferral application.

If you have any questions about your degree progress, please contact Ms. Jan Hickey, the Assistant Director of Graduate Programs in the English Department, at jhicke11@depaul.edu.
