English Graduate Student Association (EGSA): Committees

EGSA is currently seeking interested MAE and MAW students to serve on one or more committees. Possibilities are as follows:

• Social (get-togethers, informal and formal group events and meetings)
• Academic (possibly with the inclusion of subcommittees -- current issues include thesis vs. exam, class size, course offerings)
• Commuter (includes petition for U-Pass)
• Alumni (would encompass the planning of career panels comprised of alums, staying in touch with alums)
• Fundraising/Fundspending (includes vision 2012 ideas)
• Conferences (includes attending/traveling to conferences as well as the possibility of planning for a conference at DePaul)

Those interested in serving on a particular committee (or more than one) should email the executive board at egsa_depaul@yahoo.com. These committees are in need of both leaders and participants, so please indicate the level of time and commitment you'd be willing to impart. Also, more than one committee may be involved on a given project at any time.
