On Friday, May 18, Sigma
Tau Delta, EGSA, and the Center for Writing-based
Learning hosted an English/Writing Career Panel. Sigma
Tau Delta would like to thank all of the students
and faculty who participated in the recent discussion
panel!
MAE and MAW Alumni, as well as a professional outside
of DePaul, discussed their college studies and the
work they have since done upon graduation. Providing
personal stories as well as useful tips for job-seekers,
all eight speakers agreed that there are a variety
of professional opportunities for English and Writing
students.
Professor James Murphy, Sigma Tau Delta advisor,
chaired the event. The discussion was attended by
faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students.
