Careers in English and Writing Panel

On Friday, May 18, the English Graduate Student Association and Sigma Tau Delta (the English Honors Society), in conjunction with the Career Center, are hosting the "Careers in English/Writing Fair." The purpose of this fair is to bring DePaul alumni, professionals, and graduate/undergraduate DePaul students together to discuss career possibilities for English, Writing, Communications, and New Media Studies majors and minors.

Event Agenda: 6:15-7:30: Alumni Panel Former MAE, MAW, and NMS students in fields ranging from teaching to editing/publishing to freelance writing will speak of their post-DePaul experiences and answer questions from current students. 7:30-8:00: Resume/Strategies Workshop Representatives from the Career Center will provide tips for job-seekers and those interested in updating their resumes and CVs.
