Patrick F. Kelly landed the position of Web Content Manager at Loyola University Chicago in March. Also, he and his wife, Donna, had their first son, Owen, in December.

Jim Kraus, a student in the Master in Writing program, has had his 14th book published this spring. The Micah Judgment is a contemporary thriller and was published by RiverOak Publishing in Colorado Springs. Jim is working on a new book, on trivia, for Tyndale House Publishing.

Cindy Lee, a second year MAW student, won the $500 prize for the "RU Dynamic?" writing competition in the division of college/graduate students.

Jon Nichols' article "Mystery in the Cornfields" will be published in an upcoming issue of Fate magazine. He has also set up a blog site to discuss writing at http://jonnicholsbooks.blogspot.com.

Amy S. VanStee's poem has been published in Issue #56 of the journal Poetry East.

Katie Wozniak will be presenting papers at the MMLA and IWCA conferences (both in Chicago). She will also be working on her master's thesis on feminist rhetoric and composition theory.
