Journals for Undergraduate
Research
If you are thinking about
publishing your research, the first step you should take as a student is to
speak to a faculty advisor, who will be familiar with the professional journals
that might be appropriate outlets for your work. You may also want to consider publishing your work in a journal
specifically dedicated to student research, such as those listed below. Your faculty advisor can help you weigh the
pros and cons of the options available to you.

Journal of Psychology and the Behavioral Sciences (JPBS)

annually; submission deadline Feb. 15 (may be considered after this date
if the current issue is not yet complete); notification of accept/reject

review (author identification on only the cover page and cover letter)

- Use of
Humans as participants must be accompanied with written statement that all
guidelines of the APA regarding informed consent and ethical treatment of
participants. Studies involving deceit must justify such measures.
