Fees at the DePaul University Community Mental Health Center are on a sliding scale based
on income and the number of persons living in the family. No one will be denied
service due to an inability to pay. State funding through the Illinois Department of
Human Services allows for low or no-cost services to be offered to non-insured and
under-insured families. Center staff will assist families in making applications to KidCare and/or AllKids programs
provided by the State of Illinois. We do ask that the
payments be made after each session to avoid the expense of billing. The Center
accepts Medicaid clients and will bill directly to Medicaid for these clients. If a family utilizes private insurance,
we expect payment upfront, but we will provide the family with an invoice or complete insurance paperwork as needed so the family
can recoer their expenses.
Special fee
arrangements apply for psychological testing and psychiatric services. You will be notified of the fees for these
services before you consent to receive them. |
