PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS

I study how to make the workplace “work” for everyone, in terms of organizational and individual productivity as well as employee well-being.  Current projects include understanding  processes that influence access to organizational resources and opportunities (such as negotiation), organizational level policies and procedures, and using data and empirical research to drive organizational change.  My research has also focused on the influences of individual differences (gender roles, race, personality, and decision-making), organizational context, and meta-analytic research and reviews.  Email is the best way to reach me for speaking engagements for organizations and groups.
