Undergraduate majors in Sociology may enroll in an Internship course (SOC 398). You can receive undergraduate credit interning at organizations in applied areas of Sociology - such as child and youth services, health and welfare agencies, criminal and juvenile justice departments and other types of social service agencies as well as commercial organizations. Interns spend the quarter working at the organization of choice, usually a minimum of ten hours per week.
